A manufacturing company based in New Germany, KZN, is looking for an experienced of a Supply Chain Manager. Job Responsibilities
• Staff training and supervision
• Execute the business plan objectives by working progressively with management team
• Develop KPAs to measure the effectiveness of the supply chain function
• Develop and communicate supply chain policies, procedures and internal controls
• Plan, organise, direct, manage and evaluate supply chain activities
• Ensure that all transactions are kept current, recorded current and processed efficiently in Syspro
• Oversee the purchasing, shipping, logistics, receiving and material handling of the organisation
• Conduct investigations to determine causes of supply chain related incidents and to improve safety procedures
• Effectively plan and coordinate the interaction between Sales and Production
• Responsible for working capital management especially inventory optimization and creditor optimization
• Negotiate with Suppliers

Qualifications/Requirements

• Supply Chain Management or other related tertiary qualifications
• Ability to work with minimum supervision
• High level of computer literacy
• Previous SYSPRO/ERP system experience (highly advantageous)
• Previous production experience
