Team Leader – Raw Material Assembly (Westlake Site)

Key performance areas for the position are:
• Supervise staff in the raw material assembly department.
• Control the receiving from and returns to the various material supply warehouses and communicate specific supply requirements with these warehouses.
• Ensure raw material treatment protocols are strictly adhered to.
• Ensure raw materials are available on time to meet the mixing plan
• Ensure raw materials are assembled on time in order to meet production plan requirements
• Communicate with various departments on job assembly status and escalate any issues that will impact on the production plan.
• Ensure department documentation is accurately maintained

The successful candidate will meet the following requirements:
• Grade 12 minimum
• Previous experience leading staff in a production environment
• Able to work collaboratively
• Able to communicate clearly
• Experience in capturing data in excel

Other:
• Previous experience using Syspro would be an advantage
