“AD HOC” Reception/Front of House Temp positions.

We need someone who is a stay at home MOM OR HOUSEWIFE to stand in for permanent employees as a Front of House/Receptionist during leave periods, when someone is on sick leave or when otherwise needed in Montague Gardens.

Such a person will be utilised on an “Ad Hoc” basis, and paid for hours worked only.

The ideal person will be someone who is currently at home and who has either a driver’s licence and a car, or who has reliable access to MyCity or other Public Transport facilities so that the person can arrive at the place of work on short notice.

Students in the Hospitality Industry are also welcome to apply, provided they have completed their telephone etiquette and other relevant training. Please understand this is NOT and “In Service Training” vacancy.

Individuals with Cisco Telephone Systems, or other PABX telephonic systems experience are preferred, but it is not essential as basic training will be provided on the system and procedures.

Must have excellent communication skills (both face-to-face and telephonically) and must be a presentable and eager individual with high morals and ethics.
Must be fully fluent in English and Afrikaans.
Must be able to take pride in their appearance and in their work, and have a positive demeanour even in busy periods.

Please note that NO standby, callout or reimbursive travel allowances will be given. Transport is for your own cost.
Remuneration will be at market related rates and will be communicated with applicants before acceptance of the job (in other words every job might have a different rate).
