APPOINTMENT REQUIREMENTS

• Completed Gr 12
• Décor / Design course or diploma highly advantageous
• Min 1 – 2 years previous retail textile sales experience and/or soft furnishing experience essential
• Knowledge of fabric types, composition, pattern repeats and fabric houses is advantageous; soft furnishings/curtains/blinds/cushions and foam types is beneficial
• Computer literacy in MS Office applications
• Highly organised with strong administrative skills & attention to detail
• Strong customer service orientation with a friendly disposition
• Driven to achieve sales targets
• Excellent communication skills in both Afrikaans & English


KPA’S
• Assist customers with fabric/textile selections
• Consulting with- and advising customers
• Responsible for the customer journey from selection of fabric, décor advice choice of finishing, quotations and sales conversion, through production to delivery and aftersales.
• Prepare computer based quotations for soft furnishings
• Working within a team to process orders
• Manage invoicing of made to measure and cut length fabric.

Remuneration: Competitive basic salary (neg depending on qualifications and experience) + sales commission
