A reputable Retailer needs a Trainee Regional Manager to manage KwaZulu-Natal. In the Initial stage of the role the ideal candidate would manage the KwaZulu-Natal region and grow within the business and will also act as a relief regional manager to look after other regions nationwide, should the need be. We are searching for someone to build a career with a brand that specializes in Apparel, Footwear and Accessories.

Key Performance Area’s

• Manage Store Managers and area managers in different Retail outlets and areas to measure and maximize profitability
• Must have managed Multiple Stores within a region and ability to manage area managers.
• Excellent Administration experience with a passion for Retail
• Must have travelled to recruit and train new and existing staff
• Maximizing turnover, driving customer service & stock control
• Innovative visual merchandising to optimize sales
• Managing and Reducing stock loss for all stores within the region
• Driving turnover to meet KPI’s
• Opening of new stores
• Maintaining health & safety practices
• Receiving of stock and store administration
• Managing and motivating staff in a senior role
• Setting sales targets and achieving them
• Providing your team with a stimulating and supportive environment
• Maintaining and increasing standards of customer service
• Driving performance of the stores within the respective region
• Creating long term customer relationships

Key Requirements

• Grade 12/ Matric is a must
• 1 to 2 YEARS Regional MANAGEMENT EXPERIENCE IN RETAIL NON-NEGOTIABLE
• Must have proven travel experience and be willing to travel to national stores
• Ability to relocate to different provinces, should the need be
• Valid driver’s license
• You have to understand and be able to work Retail hours to apply for this role
