The company is looking for a competent, motivated and qualified person who can coordinate and control the entire organisation’s training programmes and leadership initiatives, to achieve the company’s business goals.

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS
Co-ordinate all Training related information within the company (Technical, On the Job, Academic programmes, Leadership development interventions etc.)
Allocate and control entire training budgets for all departments (Inclusive of training-related travel and accommodation)
Interact with all training institutions including consultants and ensure that they optimise training costs.
Ensure the effectiveness and relevance of all training to business goals
Advise on the most effective Organisational Development initiatives (Strategic Leadership and Technologies)
Ensure compliance and maximisation of Skills Levy Act rebates and any Government Training incentives.

QUALIFICATIONS
A tertiary qualification (Bachelor Degree) and preferably a postgraduate qualification
Training related skills such as Train the Trainer, Assessor, Moderator Training.

WORK EXPERIENCE
At least 5 year's experience in a Training / Academic environment at a senior level
Proven record in dealing with SETAs and Educational Institutions
Proven record of being involved in BBBEE
Project Management experience

OTHER REQUIREMENTS
Leadership qualities and strong character to manage a large Training portfolio.
Good communication and presentation skills.
Good decision-making skills.
Ability to work under pressure.
Computer literacy essential.
Valid SA drivers licence imperative.
