Position: WAREHOUSE MANAGER (EE)
Package: R400-R500K (negotiable) - including benefits
Area: Gauteng, Germiston

Our client, a division of a Listed concern, requires the services of an experienced Warehouse Manager

The responsibilities of the position include:

• The daily managing and controlling of the Gauteng Warehouse;
• Implementing Management decisions and objectives
• Implementing and managing of warehouse related projects
• Ensure orders are delivered within SLA’s
• Implement and maintain processes for the Warehouse
• Manage stock accuracy, stock takes and minimize stock losses
• Manage own fleet and courier performance, cost and charges
• Monitor, enhance and ensure adherence to Standard Warehouse Operating Procedures
• Manage Human Resources
o Take disciplinary action
o Wage Negotiations
o Time keeping, Over Time and Leave
o Manage people performance
• Develop formal succession plan for key positions
• Manage Health and Safety
• Daily, Monthly Reporting

To be considered for the position, you must have:

• Relevant Degree/Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics or Industrial Engineering;
• At least 3 years Warehouse management experience, managing a team in excess of 30 people;
• Proven ability in managing day-to-day warehouse activities in a unionized workplace;
• Strong IR and Management skills;
• Advance Excel Skills;
• Very good understanding of WMS systems
• A strong drive to control and improve operational cost;
• The ability to work according to strict deadlines and pressure on a continuous basis;
• Engaging personality, enthusiastic, persistent & hard working team player;
• Must be able to adapt to changes
