The company requires a highly experienced manager with strong management and organisational skills
Fluent business English and Afrikaans
Stable track record.
Matric plus a relevant recognised qualification in Warehouse Management
Min 10 years warehouse experience, in a manufacturing / engineering environment, of which at least 4 years must be in a managerial capacity and part of the management team.
Proven track record of excellence in both warehouse management and people management
Ability to work in an efficient and effective manner in a stressful and pressurised environment

Job description:
Management of staff of 5
Implementation of strict processes and procedures in the warehouse
Computer literate with solid Excel skills
Strength of character to enforce operational and personnel policies and procedures for both staff and management
Take ownership and responsibility for the full function
Client centric
Safeguard warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols
Control inventory levels and physical counts
Achieve financial objectives by preparing budgets, scheduling expenditure, analysing variances and initiating corrective action
Orienting and training of staff with exposure to relevant disciplinary procedures
Contribute to own staff and management team by accomplishing required results within desired time frames.
