Our Client, based in the East Rand area, requires an experienced and competent individual for this position urgently.

Requirements:

Valid Matric/Grade 12 certificate
Valid driver’s license
Forklift license
Contactable landline references
Storekeeping and Stock Control diploma/certificate
Computer literate – MS Word, Excel Spread Sheets, SAP, Pastel Evolution
Proven track record of a minimum of 7 years of experience in same position
OHS/SHE certification
Excellent interpersonal communication skills
Exceptional conflict handling skills
Meticulous eye for accuracy and detail
A motivated, self-disciplined independent thinker and planner

Key Performance Areas:

Knowledge of warehouse activities and regulatory requirements
Good knowledge of problem solving methodologies
Conducts daily cycle counts and capturing figures
Conducts recounts and ad hoc counts
Checks pre-count monitor
Allocates stacking in the warehouse
Maintain product movement records
Ensures that delivery vehicles are loaded with correct stock for deliveries
Checks incoming and outgoing spares
Checks daily settlement sheets and relevant invoices
Compiles a daily warehouse return / daily operating sheet
Identify hazards in the work area and report accordingly
Manage individual and team performance and quality of work
Establish and manage distribution and Stores budgets
Stock Control
Ensure and maintain customer/supplier relationships
Ensure accurate receiving and distribution of quality product/service
Ensure Minimum and Maximum stock thresholds are maintained at all times
Raise GRNs and Delivery notes
Manage the workplace climate effectively and adhere to safety legislation
