Wealth Manager Assistant

Area: Claremont
Salary R16 000 – R19 000

We are looking for a Wealth Management Assistant who can provide administrative support to a Wealth Manager, servicing high net-worth clients, for the acquisition of new business and maintenance of client relationships, solid investment decisions and returns, for a company situated in Claremont.
The ideal candidate has a background in Wealth Management and has an appropriate tertiary qualification in the financial sector, or is studying towards it. In addition, your proven administrative ability will be essential.
You will need to be highly computer literate as you will be working on numerous computer systems. MS Word, Excel & Powerpoint are ess computer skills!

Key responsibilities include:
• Follow up on instructions with internal and external stakeholders
• Telephone client to request documents and schedule meetings
• Liaise with marketing regarding RSVP’s for respective clients
• Liaise with the finance department with regards to clients assets and liabilities
• Liaise with internal departments in respect of client portfolio management
• Liaise with various investment houses
• Prepare documentation for client meetings
• Load and update Assets Under Management onto the system
• Manage the diary of the wealth manager by scheduling appointments or following up on meetings with clients.
• Compile detailed Financial Needs Analysis for client
• Constantly update FICA and FAIS
• Ensure client has correct mandate
• To ensure all documentation are compliant with regulations.

Key Requirements:
• B.Com/ equivalent degree (advantageous)
• Wealth management administrative related experience (2-4 years)
• FICA & FAIS compliance knowledge
• Financial Needs Analysis experience on Spotlight
• Knowledge of investment products
• MS Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel
• Spotlight / Xplan or similar, Astute
• Interest in completing a CFP or pursuing a career path in Wealth Management
